Internet: A open forum

There are two identities in Internet, one leads you to discover high quality content but often unpopular, the other produces phenomena seen by millions in a matter of hours despite not offering the best content.

In cyberspace, create, multiply and spread attitudes, opinions, fellings, thoughts, activities and social issues. If there is culture, creativity, innovation, intelligence and art, undoubtedly wil be reflected in Internet. But there is a counterpart, if we position ourselves in the negative human behaviors we found prejudices, crimes, insults and theft, are also expressed in the cyberspace.

Development without technology: an impossible dream

The use and benefits of the ICT, to envolve a knowledge society, is a value is increasing in developed countries is also a great challenge in the least developed countries. The ICT are considered as tool that instigate the advancement of our communities and citizens. However this may present some drawbacks. Developing countries may consider it as a desirable value because it can improve the processes and activities, but what position they should occupy in the scale?

Development or marginalization?

Lack of access to the use and benefits of the ICT has become a socioeconomic difference: one part of humanity is connected and has more information. Turn the vast majority suffer further marginalization: exclusion information.

Countries are required to develop new polices based  on recognition of inequalities, with the aim of the new wealth is not class. Strategies and treaties (national and international)  should be planned so that the technology will lead to progress. In other words: a equitable access.
