Justification |
Since the establishment of the Center for Research in Energy and Sustainable Resources in 2011, the need to promote research in the region in the area of energy was detected. Currently, the Universidad Veracruzana offers bachelor’s degrees in mechanical, electrical, civil, chemical, environmental, biotechnology and petroleum engineering at the Coatzacoalcos campus, therefore, a master’s degree program is considered relevant to continue with the training of human resources at the graduate level in the region. The reactivation of the area and the economic growth will demand better living conditions, labor promotion, growth of the region and economic investment. That is why it is important to provide the community with a master’s degree program that allows the formation of human resources in the region, with the objective of providing training and preparation to be competitive in the labor and academic fields. Having said this, the Master of Science in Energy Technology aims to train human resources of high level and quality, promoting the development of scientific thought and method, to provide a solution to problems in the field of energy and provide a space for discussion, training of human resources, demonstration, research and evaluation related to energy. |
