
Sergio Aurelio Zamora Castro, He holds a PhD in Engineering (2007-2010) with honors and a master’s degree in Soil Mechanics (2001-2003) from the Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ), a postdoctoral stay at UNAM (2010), a Civil Engineer (1994-1999) from the Autonomous University of Sinaloa (UAS), a PRODEP Profile (2014 to date), belonging to the National System of Researchers SNI 1 (2020-2022), a member of the Mexican Society of Geotechnical Engineering (SMIG since 2016), a member of the College of Engineers of Veracruz (since 2015), 65 undergraduate theses, 8 master’s theses, and 2 co-directions in Doctorate, belonging to the academic body in consolidation (2017-2020) UV-CA-309 «Sustainable technology of engineering works», level 6 of productivity at UV, 10 publications in indexed journals, 35 in peer-reviewed journals, publications in international and national conferences. The lines of research are focused on Soil Mechanics, Environmental Engineering and Civil Engineering (sustainable construction and creation of new materials). Member of the basic academic core of the Master’s Degree in Applied Engineering. Full-time professor with a degree in «C» attached to the Faculty of Construction and Habitat Engineering, UV since 2011. Reviewer of the INGENIEANTES and RINDERESU magazines.
