Therefore, the formation of human resources requires development of technical-scientific skills with a multi- and transdisciplinary vision in order to properly include novel and emerging technologies into the social sectors. Hence, modern societies need human resources with capacities to generate novel processes, development and implementation of novel and efficient technologies with the aim of guaranteeing the expected economic growth.
However, due to the more advanced and specified knowledge, the professional capacities must be reinforced to a post degree level, thus, the human resources with Ph. D. studies are of main importance for pursuing social and economic progress with a sustainable view in an more and more globalized world.
