CASTELLANO. Soy Investigador de tiempo completo en el Instituto de Investigaciones en Educación de la Universidad Veracruzana. Miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores, Nivel 1, del Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (CONACYT). Estudio la forma en que se reproducen y se enfrentan ideologías de dominación como el racismo a través de la cultura visual/audiovisual en procesos de educación artística y de alfabetización audiovisual. Doctor en Investigación educativa en la línea de Educación intercultural (Universidad Veracruzana) con estudios avanzados en Historia del Cine (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid). Tengo 15 años de experiencia impartiendo cursos y talleres de análisis y creación audiovisual en educación superior. Coordiné el programa de posgrado Especialización en Estudios Cinematográficos (2017-2022) de la Facultad de Artes Plásticas y representé al Área Académica de Artes en el Consejo Consultivo de Posgrado de la Universidad Veracruzana (2020-2022). También soy miembro fundador de la asociación civil Foro Iberoamericano de Estudios Cinematográficos, que desde 2012 impulsa proyectos de educación audiovisual popular y evaluador disciplinar del Consejo para la Acreditación de la Educación Superior de las Artes (CAESA). ENGLISH. I am a full-time Researcher at the Educational Research Institute of the Universidad Veracruzana. Member of the National System of Researchers, Level 1, of the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT). I study the way in which ideologies of domination such as racism are reproduced and confronted through visual/audiovisual culture in processes of artistic education and audiovisual literacy. PhD in Educational Research in the line of Intercultural Education (Universidad Veracruzana) with advanced studies in Film History (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid). I have 15 years of experience teaching audiovisual analysis and creation courses and workshops in higher education. I coordinated the postgraduate program Specialization in Film Studies (2017-2022) of the Faculty of Plastic Arts and represented the Academic Area of Arts in the Graduate Advisory Council of the Universidad Veracruzana (2020-2022). I am also a founding member of the civil association Foro Iberoamericano de Estudios Cinematográficos, which since 2012 promotes popular audiovisual education projects and disciplinary evaluator of the Council for the Accreditation of Higher Education in the Arts (CAESA).
