Welcome to Universidad Veracruzana!

The Doctorate in Brain Research  of the Universidad Veracruzana (UV) is an educational program focused on the training of specialized human resources of high level, capable of conducting research activities on the functions of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves, both at the molecular level as behavioral. This page informs about general aspects of the postgraduate course, the lines of research that are developed and the academics that make up the core.

The Doctorate in Brain Research belongs to the National Quality Graduate Program of the Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (Conacyt). Scholarships to support the studies of this doctorate are requested and processed through the Program coordination, however, are granted by Conacyt, as long as the applicants comply with the terms and requirements established in the call (subject to the budgetary availability of said agency).
