Cybermetrics Lab recently published the updating of The Webometrics Ranking July of 2011. This European ranking has been getting some importance during the last 2 years, so I got pretty happy to find out that my university has reached a good position. Universidad Veracruzana is 7th in the rank of universities of Mexico, 54th in Latin America and 1087 worldwide.
Since last year we have scaled positions on every update for this world ranking so we are pretty pleased with our work. I am the webmaster of the university main portal so I can tell, we have been working a lot.
This is the result of the good work of a special group of people which I am proud to be part of.
We have to keep the motivation and the good work because we still have a lot of things to improve.
