The Xalapa Region Faculty of Nursing welcomes you to train as Specialists in Maternal and Perinatal Health, through critical, analytical and reflective thinking, capable of making timely decisions in nursing care, implementing scientific evidence to preserve life , limit the damage to women in a fertile state, pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium, avoid and attend to complications that may endanger the life of the mother and child pair, respecting their cultural heritage with a humanistic and ethical approach.

Therefore, the Universidad Veracruzana, assuming the social commitment to train human resources that respond to needs and social problems, offers through the Faculty of Nursing campus Xalapa, the Specialization in Maternal and Perinatal Health, with a school system and with a model whose The main objective is to train nursing professionals with a high level of competence to care for women in the reproductive stage and children in the neonatal stage, consequently the skills are acquired through educational courses.

This graduate program belongs to the National Postgraduate System (SNP) of CONACyT. The amount is granted by the agency itself as long as the applicants comply with the terms and requirements established in the call and will be subject to the budget availability of CONACyT. We also seek that the Internet page allows us to establish a communication bridge with applicants, students and graduates.
