Professors, graduate students and researchers interested in Applied Linguistics in Foreign Languages Teaching and Learning, are invited to attend and/or submit proposals to be delivered at the VII CIILE from 24 to 26 June, 2015 in Veracruz, Ver., Mexico.
Call for participation
DESCRIPTION OF TYPES OF PRESENTATIONS:
Academic Paper: 40 minutes (Each talk should be no longer than 30 minutes with an additional 10 minutes for questions and answers.) The presenter discusses and describes the project the presenter is working on, its impact and implications.
Panel discussion: Each talk should be no longer than 1:30 hours including questions and answers. (Minimum 3 participants, maximum, 5 participants) Participants have to be from at least 2 different institutions.
Book presentations: 40 minutes (Each talk should be no longer than 30 minutes with an additional 10 minute- Q&A).
PROCEDURE
All work presented will be the result of research in progress or completed research related to teaching-learning foreign languages.
The proposals can be sent in Spanish, English, Portuguese, and French.

All submissions will be refereed.
Venue: Veracruz, Ver., Mexico.
NOTE: if the presentation is in any other language, speakers are responsible of translating the information to Spanish and/or English. CIILE will NOT provide translating or interpreting services.
GUIDELINES for PROPOSALS
Proposals should follow these guidelines:
- Title of the presentation (no more than 10 words).
- We accept submissions and welcome critical and disciplinary papers on the following topics:
- Foreign language teaching and learning
- Evaluation and Assessment in Foreign Languages
- Language and culture
- Teacher training and Professional Development
- Language Studies (Pragmatics, Psycholinguistics, Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, Discourse Analysis, etc.)
- NTICS (New Technologies in teaching and learning of foreign languages
- Translation/Interpretation
- Policy and Planning of Foreign Languages in Education
- Bilinguism
- Native Languages
A 250 word summary that includes the objective of the work to be presented or the research question(s), type of research (case study, survey, etc.), methodology used and, if the case, results and conclusions of the research.
- Write clearly type of presentation: in progress research report, Academic Paper, Book Presentation according to the guidelines above.
- Write the presenter(s) name(s) exactly how you want it to appear on the program and the certificate.
- Institution of affiliation.
- Biodata statement of each presenter (no longer tan 50 words).
- Postal address and e-mail.
- Type of equipment you need: computer projector, screen, laptop.
