Security, justice and health are fundamental elements of social development and are strict indicators of it. Such is the importance of these areas that neoliberal economic theories do not consider economic and social development viable in a political environment of insecurity and injustice. In the last 5 years, crime indicators have risen globally by almost 100% in our social environment. A large number of medical-legal cases are attended daily in the different jurisdictions of the Mexican Republic, both at federal and state level. Approximately 50,000 expert opinions are issued annually exclusively in the forensic medical area, which includes autopsies, classification of injuries, forensic medicine, forensic odontology, forensic genetics, forensic chemistry and toxicology, as well as psychological and criminological opinions.
