- What are the special evaluations?
These consist of a series of screening criteria established by our Graduate Program to assess applicants and thereby select candidates who meet the required profile for admission to the master’s program. They are listed below:
- Research Project Proposal
- Personal Interview
- Curriculum Vitae
- Statement of Purpose Letter
- If I am a recent graduate and do not yet hold my degree certificate, am I eligible to apply for the master’s program?
Yes—provided that the degree issuance process is currently underway, in accordance with the Universidad Veracruzana Student Statutes (Estatuto de Alumnos), which stipulates:
Article 21. Applicants entitled to enrollment must submit the original certificate of completed studies corresponding to the academic level preceding the one they wish to pursue, along with all other required documentation. Should the certificate not yet be available, the institution will provisionally accept an official letter of academic standing demonstrating that all coursework has been successfully completed, together with documentation confirming that the certificate request is in process, provided all other established requirements are met. For graduate-level studies, applicants must present the required degree certificate or documentation attesting that its issuance is underway, in addition to fulfilling all other requirements set forth in the applicable regulations.
Article 22. The non-extendable deadline for submitting the documentation referenced in the preceding article shall be ninety (90) calendar days, counted from the official start date of classes, in accordance with the institutional academic calendar. Failure to comply will result in the applicant’s withdrawal due to cancellation of enrollment. Enrollment cancellation entails forfeiture of rights acquired during that admissions process; however, such cancellation does not preclude the student’s participation in future admissions cycles.
