ABOUT EMDA

^5thInternational Altamira Materials and Devices Encounter (EMDA). will be held at Altamira, Tamaulipas | 13 – 15 | November 2025. EMDA 5^th will target state-of-the-art as well as emerging topics pertaining to materials, electronics devices, and their applications.The spirit of this meeting is to bring together specialists with undergraduate and graduate students to foster interest in basic and applied sciences, particularly in our universities in development, to foster scientific and inclusive scientific vocations, enhance the universal access to knowledge, generate new collaborations and strength the existing ones.

This event, which is held in a hybrid format, is free of charge, to promote the participation of students in poster sessions, workshops and conferences given by specialists of international prestige and that they can publish their work at no cost in a journal indexed in Scopus.

The accepted (Registered & Presented) full papers will be published in the IOP Journal of Physics: Conference Series ( OnlineISSN: 1742-6596, Print ISSN: 1742-6588), indexed in Scopus.

Note:

1) All articles must be submitted via the IOP’s publishing platform (Morressier)

2) All submitted articles should report original research results, experimental or theoretical, not previously published or under consideration for publication elsewhere. Articles submitted to the EMDA conference should meet these criteria. We firmly believe that ethical behaviour is the most important virtue of any academic. Therefore, any act of plagiarism or other misconduct is completely unacceptable and cannot be tolerated.

3) Full papers should be prepared using the template provided and should be a minimum of 4 pages and a maximum of 8 pages. The full paper should include the authors’ names, full addresses and the e-mail address of the corresponding author.

5) Proof of participation will be granted for presenting a poster (via Twitter, Zoom)

6) Proof of participation will be given to those attending each of the workshops

7) Generative AI Tools: There are many responsible and appropriate uses for generative AI within scholarly research and we support authors using it in this manner. When doing so, authors are encouraged to be transparent about their use of any generative AI tools in either the research or the drafting of the manuscript. Authors are also encouraged to maintain records of previous drafts, as well as any prompts used in the editing or generation of material within their manuscript. Please state this in the Acknowledgements of the paper.
