New Publication Alert! 📰🐀⏰
“Movement path as an ethological lens into interval timing”
Now published in Behavioural Processes! Read it here
Following up on our previous entry — International Collaboration on Interval Timing! 🐀⏳🇨🇦 — we are excited to announce that our latest article has just been published!
In this study, we join forces again with Dr. Fuat Balci (University of Manitoba) to explore how the spatiotemporal movement dynamics in Wistar rats can serve as a window into interval timing mechanisms. The data, generated at #LabPsiCom, was analyzed through the lens of our data-driven approach, which prioritizes the discovery of patterns in behavior through fine-grained spatial and temporal measurement.
This work represents not only a methodological innovation — moving beyond discrete operant responses — but also a productive dialogue between diverse theoretical traditions. By focusing on how behavior unfolds in space and time, we move closer to a more ecological and dynamic understanding of timing behavior.
We are proud of this collaborative effort and grateful for the cross-lab synergy that made it possible! 🚀🐁📈
