Orientation: Research
Mode: On-campus

The MINESE program was created as an academic and social response to the need to analyze, understand, and address the complex challenges facing our region and the country.

Our program is grounded in the belief that economic phenomena cannot be separated from their social, political, and cultural context. Therefore, we adopt a multi- and interdisciplinary approach that fosters the creation of relevant and transformative knowledge.

Our Purpose

The Curriculum of the Master’s in Economic, Social, and Educational Research is justified based on a diagnosis and analysis of social needs and demands. This is supported by a feasibility study that provides insight into the social context, professional field, and labor market in which students will operate. It also considers current local, national, and international educational offerings, as well as the legal framework governing the program. The process begins with the feasibility study.

Mission

The mission of the Master’s in Economic, Social, and Educational Research is to train highly qualified professionals equipped with theoretical and practical tools to analyze and address economic, social, and educational challenges from an integrated and multidimensional perspective. Our focus emphasizes the rigorous application of research methods at the local, regional, and global levels to generate effective and relevant solutions that promote sustainable development and social equity. We cultivate an academic environment of excellence that encourages critical thinking, innovation, and a commitment to social well-being.

Vision

In the medium term, the Master’s in Economic, Social, and Educational Research aims to be a high-quality graduate program, establishing itself as a national academic benchmark. We seek recognition for the excellence of our research, which is oriented toward solving social problems in economic, social, and educational contexts. Our goal is to promote comprehensive and sustainable development through a solid theoretical and methodological foundation, setting a standard of quality that significantly impacts the advancement of knowledge and professional practice.

General Objective

The general objective of this graduate program is to train master-level researchers with the scientific and technical knowledge and skills necessary to effectively analyze and address economic, social, and educational challenges.
