Cantante de jazz nacido en Chicago. Graduado en la Universidad de Michigan. Atrajo la atención cuando fue nombrado vocalista del año por la Revista Down Beat Collegiate del año 1999. Trabajó con la Orquesta Lincoln Center Jazz junto a Wynton Marsalis. En “The Boston Globe” lo describieron como “Maduro en sonido y rico en texturas con suficiente angustia juvenil en sus temas líricos sin caer en los extranjerismos comunes”. Ha realizado giras a nivel internacional actuando en Nueva York, California y Washington, así como en Suiza, Alemania y Rusia.

The artist attracted attention when he was named Down Beat magazine’s Collegiate Jazz Vocalist of the year in 1999.He has worked with the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra with Winton Marsalis. “The Boston Globe” suggested that Vasandani is “Mature in sound and rich in texture but also possessed enough youthful angs in its lyrical themes to ward off the fogeyism that male vocalist so easily slip into before their time”. Vasandani has tour international performed in New York, California and Washington, as well as in Switzerland, Germany and Rusia.
