Nacida en Santiago de Chile en 1985. Considerada por la prensa chilena “Una de las más frescas e interesantes músicos del año” Recientemente se mudó a Nueva York para estudiar en la New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. Guitarrista y vocalista sobresaliente, ha desarrollado su propia voz como compositora y arreglista. Ha grabado dos álbumes con el sello chileno Vertice Records y ha actuado en Sud America, Europa y E.U.. En junio de 2009 fue invitada al Blue Note Poznan, al festival de jazz de Polonia y al Swidnica Jazz Fest y en 2010 al Festival de Jazz de Perú. Ha tenido la oportunidad de tocar y aprender con grandes músicos como Peter Bernstein, Vic Juris, Jonathan Keisberg, Sam Yahel, Billy Harper, Charlie Persip, Barry Harris, Gabriel Alegría, Jeff “Tain” Watts, John Benitez, Jason Linder, Edward Pérez, Casandra Wilson entre otros.
Camila Meza: Camila was born in 1985. Considered by the press from Chile as “One of the most fresh and interesting musicians of the year” Recently moved to New York to attend the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. Outstanding she has developed her own voice as a composer and arranger. She has recorded two albums with Vertice Records and has performed in South America, Europe and U.S. In June 2009 she was invited to Blue Note Poznan, Poland Jazz Festival and Swidnica Jazz Festival and in 2010 to the Festival de Jazz de Perú.
