Dra. Elizabeth Alvarado Martínez

Elizabeth Alvarado Martínez holds a Doctorate in Education, a master’s degree on TESOL and a BA in Applied Linguistics, and a Certificate for Overseas Teachers of English. She has been recognized as professor in the National System of Researchers (SNI), and with a Desirable Profile by PRODEP since 2009. Leader of the Academic Group Research at the Consolidated level 292 Foreign Languages in the Northeast of Mexico: linguistic, cultural, and educational processes. She is Director of the National Pedagogical University 192, Guadalupe, Nuevo León. She has been a member of the Technical Council for the Accreditation of English Teachers of the National Council for the Evaluation of Higher Education (CENEVAL), as well as its Committee of Reagents, and part of foreign, national, and local research projects. She is director and co-director of doctoral, master’s and bachelor’s theses at local, national, and foreign universities. She has participated as a book editor, reviewer, and speaker at national and international level, as well as published in national and foreign books and magazines. Designer of the master’s degree in Linguistics Applied to the Teaching of Foreign Languages, member of the master’s Committee at the Graduate School, her research interest are teacher training, teacher professional development, language teaching and learning in EFL, technology, qualitative research, mixed, among others.
