Agustín L. Herrera-May received a B.S. degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Universidad Veracruzana, Mexico, in 2000, and the M.E. and Doctor degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, in 2002 and 2011, respectively. He is a researcher from the Micro and Nanotechnology Research Center. He is also the Head of the Micro and Nanodevices Research Group. He is the author or co-author of more than 135 peer-reviewed journal articles. His research interests include microelectromechanical- and nanoelectromechanical systems, energy-harvesting devices, mechanical design, magnetic field sensors, microgrippers, mirrors, microphones, resonators, and finite element methods. He has served as a Reviewer of 100 peer-reviewed journals. He is Associate Editor of IEEE Access, Discover Nano, and Frontiers in Sensors, Academic Editor of Shock and Vibration and Journal of Sensors, and Guest Editor of Sensors, SN Applied Sciences, and Micromachines
