Requirements

Entry requirements:

1. Academicians

  1. Academic degree: Bachelor’s Degree . In case of not having it , submit letter of commitment to obtain the title before the end of the first semester.
  2. Minimum GPA of 8.0 degrees ( on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest) . For foreign applicants, if the rating scale is different in your country , they must submit a certificate of equivalence in the scale of 1 to 10.
  3. Research Protocol , it is suggested that the research topic matches the research of teachers of the Master .
  4. Letter preamble
  5. 2 recommendation letters (Format for letter)
  6. Submit documentary proof of intermediate level English language , this document may be the results of: EXAVER -2 5 ILETS , 64 IBT TOEFL or equivalent ( TOEFL IBT dates in Puebla, Mexico and Veracruz) .
  7. Submit complete supporting documentation the only resume CVU CONACYT ( mandatory requirement ) .
  8. Present EXANI – III test. For foreign applicants contact the General Directorate of Graduate Studies Unit ( DGUEP ) to indicate the payment process , email : posgradodifusión@uv.mx
  9. Attend an interview with the Academic Admissions Committee.
  10. Take and pass the preparatory course
  11. Cover quotas.* If for some reason you can not be present, you must notify the coordination.

    Requirements for foreigners

    In the case of applicants other than Mexican nationality in addition to the above requirements shall also submit the following :

    – Copy of your immigration permission FM -3 for studies in Mexico or copy of the application for immigration permit as FM -3 not be approved this procedure.

    -Passport

    In the case of students whose native language is not Spanish , must check the ideal of the Spanish language skills by presenting the result in Certification Exam Spanish as a Foreign Language ( ECELE ) level B2.

     

    The process of selection of students will be done by assessing : a) Review CV (15 % ) , b ) Research Protocol ( 25%), c ) Interview (20 % ) , d ) score EXANI – III (10 % ) e) Performance in the preparatory course (20 % ), f) letters of recommendation ( 10%); which will assess the skills , abilities and interests of applicants around scientific research on economic issues – ecological .

     

Any matter not provided in the call will be resolved by the Academic Committee of the Master. Once the selection process has been completed, selected applicants should continue with the procedures relating to the registration process.

Minimum and maximum number of students : 6 minimum – maximum 8 students.

2. Administrative

Registration process

Dates : From the first of August to August 12, 2016

Cost : Fee registration to the UV $ 250.00 ( Semiannual)

Recovery Fee : $ 7,000.00 Semiannual (4 Semesters )

Class Schedule

The master shall be guided by the six-monthly calendar of the Universidad Veracruzana so new semester classes begin from August and will be Monday through Friday. The specific class schedule will be published in July , they will be morning and afternoon , it is expected that the student to perform a full-time schedule .

Place: Faculty of Economics , postgraduate Classroom .

Notice: The next edition will be published in January 2016 to form part of the fourth generation from 2016 to 2018 . Course start in August 2016 .

 

Permanence requirements:

    • Meet the requirements for accreditation of educational level determined by the program.
    • Submit certification of total loans of the six-month period immediately preceding.
    • Pass each of the subjects with a minimum grade of 80 on a scale of 1-100.
    • Meet the tariff quotas established payments and recovery.
    • Attend counseling sessions with your tutor.
    • Submit progress reports on their research work aimed at obtaining a degree. The report must be endorsed by the tutor.
    • Comply with the provisions of the General Regulations of Master Studies and other university legislation.
    • Meet full schedule Monday to Friday (morning and afternoon).

Graduation requirements:

To complete the studies the student must meet the following requirements

    • Approve all program courses with a minimum grade of 80 on a scale of 1 to 100 (check regulations graduate )
    • Cover 100 % of the credits of the curriculum
    • Develop a thesis , the product of an investigation, under the guidance of an advisor previously approved
    • Pass the examen grade
    • Presentation of an article in a national or international congress
    • A scientific article published and a scientific article likely to be published in a scientific journal.
    • Check examination result EXAVER English – 3 or equivalent ( 6.5 ILETS , 79 Toefl IBT )The requirements of both articles are detailed in the curriculum , consult in coordinating.Fieldwork : The natural field of work is in applied research, what the teacher graduated from the Master of Environmental Economics and Ecological can make from an academic , social , governmental or private institution
