{"id":615,"date":"2013-04-14T18:40:26","date_gmt":"2013-04-14T23:40:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uv.mx\/iif\/?p=615"},"modified":"2021-10-01T09:45:36","modified_gmt":"2021-10-01T14:45:36","slug":"inifor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uv.mx\/iif\/general\/inifor\/","title":{"rendered":"Antecedentes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El inicio del Instituto de Investigaciones Forestales (INIFOR) se remonta al 16 de Octubre de 1985, cuando la Universidad Veracruzana y la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Chapingo crearon el Centro de Gen\u00e9tica Forestal A.C. en Chapingo, Estado de M\u00e9xico. En 1987 se crea la Sub-sede de este Centro en la ciudad de Xalapa, Veracruz, y en 1991 se incorpora a la Universidad Veracruzana como una dependencia.\u00a0Posteriormente, el 6 de Mayo de 1999 cambia su nombre a Instituto de Gen\u00e9tica Forestal, con el lema \u00ab<em style=\"font-weight: inherit\">Mejoramiento Gen\u00e9tico de los Bosques de Veracruz<\/em>\u00bb que reflejaba el objetivo de la entidad.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En Noviembre de 2009, nuevamente se promueve el cambio de nombre a Instituto de Investigaciones Forestales al diversificarse los temas de investigaci\u00f3n con la llegada de nuevos acad\u00e9micos a la entidad.
