These programs are aimed to offer foreign students the opportunity to participate in the university life interacting with professors and students in different frameworks according to their level of mastery of Spanish.

Cultural Immersion Program

The Cultural Immersion Program provides the foreign student with an opportunity to become familiar with the local environment, to understand Mexican culture and, through personal interaction with a Cultural Aide, it facilitates the acquisition of the Spanish language in a natural setting. The Program is tailored to the individual needs of each student.

Programa Didáctica del Español como Lengua Extranjera

La Universidad Veracruzana, a través de la Escuela para Estudiantes Extranjeros, ofrece el Diplomado Didáctica del Español como Lengua Extranjera cuyo objetivo es proporcionar las bases metodológicas de la enseñanza del español/lengua extranjera, para desarrollar propuestas didácticas.

Programas Espciales - Special Programs

Special Programs are a series of academic and cultural activities planned to fulfill the needs of a specific group of students, professors or international visitors depending on their academic area, length of their stay, size of the group and their Spanish level. Our goal is to help visitors enter deep into Mexican culture and provide them with an intercultural learning experience in their own field of study.

North American Studies Program

North American Studies Program is a multidisciplinary program aimed at both university students and the general public interested in knowing all about United States of America, Mexico and Canada.
