BIOTECHNOLOGY AND NATURAL PRODUCTS

 

This LGAC emphasizes the study of biological procedures and systems that allow obtaining and improving useful products for life and for the improvement of the health of living beings, such as new sources of chemical compounds, genes, proteins and microorganisms This is an interdisciplinary line in such a way that it uses knowledge of other branches such as biochemistry, genetics, chemistry, microbiology, cell biology, molecular biology, pharmacology, food technology and information technology, from a bioprospective approach to obtain products of biomedical interest, pharmaceutical, food, industrial among others.
