Los resultados indicaron que\u00a0<\/span><i class=\"x_ContentPasted7\">C. mexicanus\u00a0<\/i><span class=\"x_ContentPasted7\">est\u00e1 compuesto por tres grupos gen\u00e9ticos que corresponden a la Sierra Madre Oriental (SMO), Sierra Madre Occidental (SMOC), y y Faja Volc\u00e1nica Transmexicana (FVTM). Sin embargo, los an\u00e1lisis filogen\u00e9ticos indicaron que el grupo SMO es un linaje independiente del clado de\u00a0<\/span><i class=\"x_ContentPasted7\">C. mexicanus sensu stricto\u00a0<\/i><span class=\"x_ContentPasted7\">y grupo hermano del clado\u00a0<\/span><i class=\"x_ContentPasted7\">C. mexicanus- C. townsendii<\/i><span class=\"x_ContentPasted7\">.
