La tesis titulada \u201cTaxonom\u00eda y evoluci\u00f3n de <em>Ceratozamia<\/em> (<em>Zamiaceae<\/em>) en la Sierra Madre Oriental, M\u00e9xico: un enfoque para su conservaci\u00f3n\u201d fue desarrollada bajo la Codirecci\u00f3n del Dr. Fernando Nicolalde-Morej\u00f3n, investigador del Instituto de Investigaciones Biol\u00f3gicas-UV y miembro del N\u00facleo Acad\u00e9mico b\u00e1sico del Posgrado CITRO-UV y el Dr. Dennis Wm. Lil\u00ed Mart\u00ednez Dom\u00ednguez representa un modelo multidisciplinario que ocupa m\u00e9todos de la taxon\u00f3mia, la ecolog\u00eda y conservaci\u00f3n para profundizar en el conocimiento sobre el g\u00e9nero de la Ceratozamia, que adem\u00e1s permiti\u00f3 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uv.mx\/prensa\/ciencia\/egresada-del-citro-descubrio-nuevas-especies-de-cicadas\/\">el descubrimiento de una nueva especie<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Como parte de su <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uv.mx\/met\/files\/2018\/06\/Lili-Martinez-Dominguez-marzo18.pdf\">tesis de maestr\u00eda<\/a>, en 2017 public\u00f3 con sus tutores los siguientes art\u00edculos cient\u00edficos: A new species in <em>Ceratozamia<\/em> (<em>Zamiaceae<\/em>) from Sierra Norte de Puebla, Mexico. <em>Brittonia<\/em> 69(4):516\u2013524. Qualitative and quantitative morphological evidence for recognition of a new species within <em>Ceratozamia<\/em> (<em>Zamiaceae<\/em>) from Mexico. <em>Phytotaxa<\/em> 317(1):017\u2013028.
