En su l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n trabaja qu\u00edmica y biotecnolog\u00eda de hongos. Adem\u00e1s es fundador y director del Laboratorio de Alta Tecnolog\u00eda de Xalapa S.C. desde 1998.
