Abstract
It is the purpose of this Workshop to present some articles that can contribute with some essential concepts as a baseline for the development of: Computational Sapience (Wisdom), Sapient (Wise) Decision/Control, and Sapient (Wise) Systems as new disciplines/fields.
We would like to demonstrate that, Computational Sapience (Wisdom), Sapient (Wise) Decision/Control, and Sapient (Wise) Systems methodologies can be developed under proper Paradigms and general Frameworks as natural extensions of some knowledge intensive (Artificial/Computational Intelligence, Soft Computing) approaches. In particular, we are interested in presenting some Paradigms and general Frameworks that attempt to the formalization of these novel methodologies.
