Conservation of the biocultural diversity of Mexican chilies

One of the objectives of this project is to make multimedia products that promote the conservation of chilies in their cultural context, with the intention of contributing to the conservation of native resources and cultural processes that give them continuity over time as products selected by local communities.

This video was made within the framework of the project called “Program for the conservation of the biocultural diversity of the chilies of Mexico” and was recorded in the Central Valleys of Oaxaca, in a family event of Don Felipe Morales; it highlights the presence of chili in food preparation.
