Spanish courses in six levels, literature, culture, and civilization courses make up this program offered for foreign students in our school during Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. They are available in semester length and also in shorter intensive sessions.
Since 1957 our goal has been to give foreign students the broadest possible understanding of Mexico during their stay at the Universidad Veracruzana. The School promotes the learning of Spanish and Literature, the understanding of Mexican culture and traditions as well as the knowledge of Mexico as it is today. The School for Foreign Students is in charge of the operation of the activities for international student mobility, including Study Abroad Programs and reciprocal exchanges through institutional agreements. It maintains agreements for Summer Programs as part of longstanding relationships with US institutions. SUMMER PROGRAMS
Intercultural experiences involving foreign visitors, Mexican students and teachers, and the local community are promoted through the Immersion and Home Stay programs. Interesting field trips to archaeological and historic sites, social and cultural events with university artistic groups such as the folkloric ballet and salsa band are highlights of the program. The Summer Intensive Session is offered every year during six weeks in June and July.
