Student Mobility

Spring and fall exchange norms only for foreign students coming from a university with an exchange agreement with UV:
 
The Universidad Veracruzana warmly supports and welcomes exchange students. We deeply believe in the academic and cultural advantages of exchange programs so necessary in our changing world. Exchange Programs at the Universidad Veracruzana are administered through the Escuela para Estudiantes Extranjeros (EEE)

At the Universidad Veracruzana, Student Exchange Programs have a tuition waiver per term that includes all the courses students want to take at any of the university schools (Facultades) based on seat availability and language proficiency -exchange students must have at least a Spanish level IV (upper intermediate), so that they can take advantage of their choices at Universidad Veracruzana.

In order to provide support for the exchange students’ language and cultural needs, Universidad Veracruzana at the EEE offers only two courses waived, one language and one content course (they are not interchangeable) per semester out of the following:

To take any culture courses at the EEE, students need a Spanish level III.
 
Applied language courses:
  • “Expresión Oral”
  • “Expresión Escrita”
  • “Gramática del Español”
  • “Pronunciación del Español”
  • “Traducción Inglés-Español”
 
  • All courses except for Español Contacto Express and Español Intensivo require a minimum of 5 students

    Acceptance letter

    Requirements to register can be sent by e-mail, regular mail or fax (except for the photographs) make sure to bring the originals to the Admissions Office
      1. Application form
      2. Answer our placement test. First follow this link in order to get a login and password information.  Once you have that information you can go ahead and answer the Placement test. It is absolutely necessary to take the online placement test.
      3. Selected courses/programs 2010, according to your language level, please check our map.
      4. Photocopy of your passport.
      5. Photocopy of your Border Pass.
      6. Photocopy of student visa FM3 *for stays longer than two months.
      7. Certificate of Medical Record.
      8. Copy of your insurance.
      9. A picture file in jpg 480 x 640 pixels (white background and wear black clothing).
      10. For exchange students administrative fee $80 USD (non refundable).
      11. The latest transcript from your University, if you require credits.
      12. Homestay Program application form, (Part I and Part II) If applicable. Please read Home Stay Regulations.
      13. Cultural Immersion Program application form, ( Part I and Part II ) If applicable.
      14. Proof of funding (except for Special Programs and the Intensive Summer Session).
      15. The oral exam will be carried out via Skype (user: prodacele). Students must make an appointment to take it at prodacele@yahoo.com.mx by sending their name, home university and available time. Then, they will be informed about the date and time of their oral exam. They will need a headset and internet connection.
    EEE will not accept students who missed to take the Language Placement Test and the Oral Exam on line
    • we won't accept students without a student visa. The student visa must be valid for the whole term of studies, either one semester or one year. In the case of a one-semester student who will extend the stay for one more semester, all the visa paperwork and payment fees must be done again for the corresponding term.
