Orientation

The Doctorate in Administrative Sciences and Management for Development is a program that seeks, through research of high scientific and social relevance, to generate knowledge and make theoretical contributions to the field of management and administrative sciences, as well as to influence the organizations, companies, productive projects, regions and social actors in order to collaborate in their orientation as agents of responsible and sustainable social change.

Its objective is to train high-level human resources capable of generating relevant knowledge and modeling innovative and effective intervention strategies that allow organizations to manage and increase tangible and intangible resources for sustainable development, as well as to train researchers who Insert public and private institutions in academic institutions of high academic level in both research and teaching, capable of developing interdisciplinarily.

 

Justification

The Doctorate in Administrative Sciences and Management for Development (DASMD) is a program under development, whose main main objective is to generate scientific and social research, and make theoretical contributions to the field of Management and Administrative Sciences, as well as to influence the organizations and / or companies of any kind, timely research projects in order to collaborate in their orientation as agents of change, responsible and sustainable for a social benefit and impact.

It should be noted that the program responds to three fundamental requirements a) an academic need, which requires the training of human resources of the highest level, with the ability to generate new knowledge in the field of Administrative and Management Sciences, so that organizations they can incorporate and develop innovations and thus respond to the challenges of sustainability and governance; b) a demand of an economic-administrative nature, to the extent that the orientation of the program aims to provide a solid, scientific, well-founded response to the management problems of companies, organizations and productive projects for development, and c) assumes a clear position of social commitment by providing scientific knowledge so that companies and organizations (social, public, and non-governmental) are agents of change towards the sustainable development of our state (without this meaning that our research is limited to organizations based on Veracruz).

In summary, the DASMD is justified by presenting solid, informed and relevant options in three dimensions: academic, administrative and social that generates educational quality as a postgraduate at the doctoral level of research.

Mission

To be an educational program that graduates researchers with a high knowledge in the field of Administrative Sciences and Management for Development addressing border issues in Social Sciences that face public and / or private organizations in their diverse contexts in the face of their changing reality

Vision

In 2025 be a consolidated program with a broad social and academic recognition for its ability to generate innovative knowledge in the field of Administrative Sciences and Management for Development, training senior researchers, committed and capable of designing viable alternatives and sustainable to boost organizations in the framework of sustainability, governance and knowledge management and innovation.

Objectives

General

To train high-level human resources capable of generating and distributing relevant knowledge capable of modeling innovative and effective intervention strategies that allow organizations to manage and increase their tangible and intangible resources for sustainable development, as well as to train researchers who are inserted in the public and private sphere in academic institutions that contribute to research as well as teaching, with a capacity oriented towards interdisciplinary development in the field of Administrative Sciences and Management for Development.
Specific
  • Train researchers of the highest level in administrative sciences, management and organizational analysis that are capable of generating theory in one of the three lines of research of the Doctorate.
  • Contribute to the competitiveness, efficiency and sustainability of companies and organizations through the construction of systematic and rigorous knowledge for decision making.
  •  Train researchers who generate knowledge so that in companies and organizations, creativity and innovation are encouraged and facilitated.
  • Promote sustainable development from the inclusion in companies and organizations of flexible, ethical and responsible management models with people and the environment.
  • Contribute to the formation and strengthening of business networks that incentivize the competence capacities of the different regions.
  • To favor the adoption of models of management of companies and organizations based on equity, participation in strategic decision making and governance for development and sustainability.
  • Provide a critical and purposeful perspective from the administrative and management sciences for the consolidation of the university as a generator and distributor of relevant knowledge.
